Silicone-based products such as sheets and gels are recommended as the gold standard, first-line, non-invasive option for both the prevention and treatment of scars.

CICA-CARE Silicone Gel can help prevent, reduce or soften scars such as keloid and hypertrophic scars as well as scars from scalds, burns, plastic surgery and breast surgery. It can be used for the management of new and existing scars.

In fact, when CICA-CARE Silicone Gel is used correctly (as per the instructions for use), best results may be seen after 2-4 months treatment times.

CICA-CARE Silicone Gel is used for red and raised hypertrophic and keloid scars.

If you have been diagnosed you with a keloid or hypertrophic scar and recommended silicone scar therapy, CICA-CARE may be suitable for you. If you have been diagnosed as at risk of developing keloid or hypertrophic scars recommended silicone scar therapy, CICA-CARE may be suitable for you.

Instructions for Use

Application

1. Clean and thoroughly dry the application area.
2. Unscrew cap and dispense an appropriate amount of gel to ensure adequate coverage of treatment area.
3. Gently massage a thin layer of CICA-CARE Gel into the treatment area. When dry, an invisible film is created.
4. If the gel has not dried within 4 – 5 minutes, remove the excess.
5. After the gel has dried, cosmetics may be applied over the film.
6. Use the gel at least twice daily.
7. Always replace the cap tightly after use.
