How Do I Correctly Fit My Rolyan Abduction Sling?

It is important that you take your time and follow the instructions below step-by-step when fitting your Rolyan Abduction Sling.

1. The elbow fits into the closed end of the sleeve, and the curve of the large end of the pillow fits around the torso under the elbow (A). If necessary, remove the sleeve from the pillow, turn the sleeve around, and fasten it to the pillow in the other direction.
2. Be sure one end of the long strap is attached to the D-ring on the proximal upper end of the forearm sleeve. 
3. Unfasten the short distal strap on the front flap of the forearm sleeve to allow the sling to be put onto the forearm. Put the sling against the body so the abduction pillow fits around the torso as shown in A and the forearm fits into the sleeve as shown in C.
4. Fasten the distal strap through the front D-ring and close the snaps on the upper edge of the forearm sleeve.
5. Position the long strap across the back and over the unaffected shoulder. Pull the end through the center D-ring on the upper distal sleeve portion and fasten the hook material to the strap surface. Position the strap pad over the unaffected shoulder.
6. Put the thumb loop around the thumb (D).
7. Fasten the waist strap through the D-rings on the pillow (E).
