Our finger dressing is a small bandage explicitly designed for covering and protecting finger injuries, perfect for when a plaster won’t provide enough protection.

The finger dressing comes supplied with ‘quick fix’ tape, so you can easily secure the finger dressing without help from another person.

The finger dressing has a low adherent wound pad attached to the soft dressings. The absorbent wound pad cushions the wound during healing and protects from infection.

Our finger dressing is simple and easy to apply, providing effective protection to the injured finger. The finger dressing is suitable for use on both adults and children.

Instructions

Before using Safe and Sound Health’s Finger Dressing, clean the wound and surrounding area with water or antiseptic spray and gently pat the area dry

1. Start by position the pad over the wound and wrap the bandage around the entire finger
2. Remove the paper backing from the ‘quick fix’ tape
3. Fold the end of the dressing under and secure by pressing lightly

The finger dressing should be firm, but not too tight, as swelling may develop. Check for signs of constriction after application, e.g. discolouration
